Anne Claire Batcheller CouchAnnie focuses her practice on advising small businesses and individuals in matters related to business formation, governance, and real estate transactions. She counsels clients through all stages of business ownership, from startup to succession planning, and frequently assists with contract negotiation, real property deals, and general counsel services. Annie also represents buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions, helping clients navigate home purchases and sales with clarity and confidence.
Before joining Ridenour & Goss, Annie practiced corporate and securities law in the Nashville office of Bass, Berry & Sims, PLC. Her work included complex mergers, acquisitions, and securities offerings—some exceeding $1 billion in value—on behalf of both public and private companies. Annie brings a practical, client-centered approach to her work, grounded in experience with both high-level corporate deals and the day-to-day legal needs of growing businesses. She is committed to helping clients make informed decisions with confidence and clarity. While at the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law, Annie served as a Research Editor for the Tennessee Law Review. She was also honored as a Hardwick Fellow and inducted into the Order of the Coif. Licensed in North Carolina and Tennessee. |
